Postmodern Critique. 32" x 40" - 81.28cm x 101.6cm, acrylic on canvas, 2014
Most iconoclasm is either the work of lunatics or else calculated gestures like Robert Rauschenberg's "Erased de Kooning Drawing" or Lucio Fontana's slashed monochrome paintings. Yet since the gesture makes a statement, that statement should take the risk. This is one of my destroyed painting. The destroyed image still lives under paint-dripped footsteps and splashes of postmodernism.
